The Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, through the Cantabrian Sailing Federation, proposes a hospitality program to make the most of Santander 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships.

Get ready to enjoy spectacular views from a unique island in the Bay of Santander.

The Isla de la Torre offers breath-taking views of the bay and surrounding beaches and mountains, and is located strategically to see all the participants on their way to and from the race areas.

The Isla de la Torre has two large terraces and two indoor suites, so no matter the weather, you will be able to comfortably enjoy the sailing event as well as the view.

You will be met at the Federación Cántabra de Vela Hospitality Tent right outside the athlete’s village and will be accompanied to the dock area at the outer edge of the village, allowing an inside view of the event and the athletes while they are preparing for the regattas.

Once you have reached the dock, a boat shuttle will be waiting to tender you to the Isla de la Torre.

Throughout your stay on the Island, you will enjoy delicious food; from breakfast items in the early morning to a buffet lunch and snacks in the afternoon accompanied by selected Spanish wines and beers. A local gin brewery will be offering guests perfectly prepared gin tonics as well as other surprise events which will be announced on a daily basis.

You will have the opportunity to take a one hour long tour during races to view from the water the race areas with knowledgeable hosts who will help you understand the races, types of boats etc., as they have competed professionally themselves.
