Promoting tourism and international projection key points for businesses in the service sector holding Santander2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships

This week has been held informational meeting between Santander Consistory and 60 traders and entrepreneurs winners of trade stands, to be installed on the promenade of the city from 30 August to 21 September to celebrate Santander 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships.

During the meeting, the mayor of Santander, Iñigo de la Serna, discussed various issues relating to the organization and development of the event, both in its role as a sport in the cultural aspect.

In this regard, he recalled the upcoming launch of nearly 400 proposals for leisure and culture around the World, that will offer during these three weeks about 40 daily activities.

And it stood as De la Serna Santander2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships is a historic opportunity for the city not only in the field of tourism promotion and international expansion of the Santander brand, but as a showcase for all the commercial sector and of city services.

The tents will accompany Santander 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships will enjoy a wide variety of products and services. From typical products of Cantabria, crafts, clothing or accessories to other booths that will be occupied by the sponsors of this event.
