Santander organizes more than 360 cultural activities for the World Sailing Championship Santander 2014

About 40 daily activities, more than 360 in three weeks, will fill the streets of Santander from 30 August to 21 September, the last day of the World Championships. This program was unveiled today in the City Council of Santander, which is the main organizer of most activities, together with the 'Foundation Creative Santander' (FSC ).

These activities will show a wide variety of disciplines and are aimed at a general audience. They will have both national and international artists, and they will be distributed throughout the city, even though the intention is to focus the cultural and leisure shows nearby the World Championship venue, from the Pereda gardens to 'Peligros' beach.

During the days of the Worlds, there will be thirty dance performances that will draw the discipline of the theater into the street and people will enjoy a festival of humour, juggling, circus and acrobatics, among many other proposals that will be reflected in a specific book with all the schedule written in Spanish and English. In addition, the same information will be available on a special APP of the Worlds.
