The delegation presents to all International Delegations, in these key meetings on the agendas, the design and development of the great event Santander 2014 plus the positive report on the “Test Event Ciudad de Santander”.
The Sultanate of Oman hosts from 9 to 16 of November the ISAF Annual Conference (International Sailing Federation), and where on Friday October 15 is the delegation representing Santander 2014 the one presenting their work plans and performance facing one of the most important international event for the Olympic sailing world.
The technical delegation of Santander 2014 is represented by the CEO of Santander 2014 ISAF World Championships, Rafael Munilla, and the Operations Director, Alejandro Abascal.
The Annual Conferences of ISAF are the most important event for all Delegations, from each of the National Federations, and Committees who have to go to these meetings, where the future of international sailing is developed.
The role of the delegation of Santander 2014 is to present the final details of technical and organizational projects of the big event that will place Santander, during 2013 and 2014, on the world map of the Olympic sailing. The presentation will be run by the Director of Operations of Santander 2014 who will expose to all the international delegations all the details of the latest plans and global development.
Technical details about facilities and adequacy thereof, assessment of the “Test Event Ciudad de Santander” held last September and a full explanation of their race courses and all that Santander offers to practice sailing are some of the key points of the presentation.
The Conference of Santander 2014 is accompanied by a video documented during the Test Event Ciudad de Santander and the host city.
