IFC, new sponsor for Santander 2014 ISAF World Sailing Championships

Industrial Farmacéutica Cantabria, together with Santander town Hall and the Spanish Sailing Federation has emitted a Media Call to transmit their participation as an active sponsor for “Santander 2014 ISAF World Sailing Championships

The compromise for the sponsorship of the Cantabrian company will start already in 2013 with the creation of an event IFC Trophy, taking care of your skin

Santander, 11^th of September 2013. Industrial Farmacéutica Cantabria, together with Santander town Hall and the Spanish Sailing Federation has emitted a Media Call to transmit  their  participation as an active sponsor for “Santander 2014 ISAF World Sailing Championships”, while the celebration this days of the Test Event “Ciudad de Santander Trophy” is taking place.

The compromise for the sponsorship of the Cantabrian company will start already in 2013 with the creation of an event “IFC Trophy, taking care of your skin”. The Cantabrian junior best classified during the Test Event will win the inscription without cost for the “Santander 2014 ISAF World Sailing Championships.

The city councilor for sport from the town hall, Mr.Luis Morante, was remarking the importance of finding support for such a big International sport event such as the celebration of the World Championships in sailing, and how he the whole city is involved in it.

On the other side, the councilor for Tourism and Institutional Relations, Miss Gemma Igual, also remarked that this event will bring an opportunity for Santander for an International repercussion.

During the press conference celebrated in the Real Club Marítimo de Santander, Mr.Enrique Quintana, General Manager of operations and Finance of IFC, mentioned how important it was for their company to support an event from the same town, since the company is also Cantabrian.

He also added that IFC puts aside 12% of the benefits to Investigation and development of new products for the skin and as a future project, would like to invest in the promising young for the near future. We would like to encourage their effort.

D.Rafael Munilla, General Manager for Santander 2014, thanked the participation and support of all the media as well as a special mention to IFS, a Cantabrian company with a great relation with Cantabria. He also was grateful for other companies from Cantabria that have taken a special interest in this event SANTANDER 2014.

The prize giving ceremony for the “Trofeo IFC Todo por tu piel” will take place on Sunday after the general official medal race ceremony in front of the CEAR de vela Principe Felipe and Escuela Superior de Nautica. This ceremony is a start for the future young Cantabrian promises.
