Giles Scott wins JP Morgan Asset Management UK Finn Nationals

He only needed one race and that was all it took. Giles Scott (GBR) won the opening race of the day at the JP Morgan Asset Management Open UK Finn Nationals to seal his third UK title with a race to spare Ben Ainslie (GBR) finished second while Jonathan Lobert (FRA) placed third.

After the first two races at the JP Morgan Asset Management Open UK Finn Nationals, the warm up regatta to next week's Finn Gold Cup, current world champion Giles Scott has got off to a good start with a small margin over main rival Ben Ainslie, each winning one race each. Ivan Klakovic Gaspic (CRO) sits in third on equal points with Ainslie.

The JP Morgan Asset Management Finn Festival combines the Open UK National Championships from 5-7 May and the Finn Gold Cup, the class world championship, from 13-18 May.
