The RFEV keeps on working to improve technical equipment and media coverage of 'Santander 2014'

A huge document of 24 pages makes up the plan of technical equipment that will enable the broadcasting of the Championship's images since 3 september 2014.

The Royal Spanish Sailing Federation has continued to work during the weekend throughout the design of the technical plan for the audiovisual service of the event, as well as the broadcast scheduling in several media for the ISAF Sailing Worlds' Santander 2014 '.

A huge document of 24 pages makes up the plan of technical equipment that will enable the broadcasting of the Championship's images since 3 September 2014. This planning involves a human team with about 50 people, which includes technicians, helicopter pilots , engineers of telecommunications and other professionals, as well as journalists .

Regarding to TV broadcasting in Spain, it is being prepared an FTP system with a multiple servers that will allow all audiovisual media to download images up to twice a day. Moreover, RFEV is negotiating with various Spanish channels a daily broadcast of specific programs on the Worlds. The duration of these programs will depend on the availability of schedules in each channel. The range of possibilities goes from five minutes up to 24, given the high interest that some televisions have shown about the Worlds.

Regarding the international broadcasting, ISAF, together with the RFEV, is working to ensure that the images will spread worldwide through 4 satellites.
