Morgan Asset Management Finn Festival for people to see this highly technical sailing dinghy in which Ben won his last two gold Olympic medals. National Maritime Museum Cornwall hosts the Our Sporting Life – Sail for Gold exhibition, celebrating our British Olympic and Paralympic sailing heritage. Take a step back in time with the 2012BC Cornwall and the Sea in the Bronze Age exhibition and celebrate the maritime rescue services with the blockbuster Search & Rescue exhibition. Open from 10.00am to 5.00pm

Meet the international sailors at Events Square in the morning, 10.30 – 11.15am
Official Opening Ceremony for competitors, their teams and press, in the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, by invitation only, 6.30pm
Sunday 13 May
Kernocopia will be adding an extra Olympic dimension to Events Square with a free event at 2pm, with an explosive fusion of Cornish sporting treasures explored through words, music, dance and performance. The production will also feature at the Weymouth & Portland 2012 Olympic Opening Celebrations.
Friday 18 May
J.P. Morgan Asset Management Finn Festival Closing Ceremony and presentation of the Finn Gold Cup, in the festival marquee on Events Square, after racing.
End of Finn Festival Party with live music from Area 51, following on from Closing Ceremony in festival marquee through to 11.30pm – free entry
Finn Grand Fireworks display, Falmouth Harbour 10.00pm

Saturday 19 May: Olympic Torch Relay in Cornwall
First day of the Olympic Torch Relay's journey around Great Britain. The flame will pass through Falmouth in the morning and the town will be celebrating this historic moment with a day long programme of activities and highlights making Falmouth a great place to watch the Olympic Torch on its way through Cornwall.
Falmouth Flame Party Night
In celebration of the Olympic Torch coming through Falmouth , Falmouth Festivals Ltd and Southwest Bars & Events announce the Falmouth Flame Party Night on Events Square on Saturday 19th May at 7pm with licensed bar and catering facilities
The headline band The Motown Pirates will lead the evenings festivities in the Finn Festival Marquee. Dubbed one of the hottest new bands in Cornwall, they enjoyed a phenomenal opening year with a fully booked diary, festival appearances, a top spot at the Eden Project. Free entry, no tickets needed, the event being supported by Falmouth Town Council and Falmouth BID
